Guys. Guys. GUYS!

Last night....was AMAZING. EPIC. Just....I can't believe last night actually happened. Wow.

You know, that was the 4th time seeing David Cook and The Anthemic and it just somehow get's more and more amazing every fucking time. I don't know how.

I was also in 5th row, which was about 12 ft. from the stage and I still don't know how I survived. David came over loads of times like right in front of where I was and just.....sigh. And Andy is so amazing to watch.

&& I GOT TO HEAR '"'TIL I'M BLUE". SERIOUSLY I GOT TO HEAR "'TIL I'M BLUE"!!!!
I seriously flipped the fuck out when David announced that that was their next song. It was probably my favorite performance of the night. It was just...perfect. The lighting, how hard they rocked out...perfect. jkghajkgjk

Aaand they also played "Straight Ahead" again which I heard in Michigan but I still love that song sfm.

Green River Ordinance still is amazing (even though I missed 15 minutes of their set :( so mad about that). Got to meet Josh and Jamey and they're awesome.
The Script was really, really good. High energy performance and if you have the chance, go check them out! You won't regret it.

I'll write up a better review later. I'm still on such a high from last night.

I didn't get to tweet as much as I wanted to last night. I don't tweet during the performances for sure, so, sorry if anyone wanted more. =/ It was really hard to keep texting when I was on the go.

ANYWAYS. SUPERNATURAL IS ON TONIGHT. Yayy!

I get to see David Cook and The Anthemic tomorrow. Along with Green River Ordinance and The Script.
This will be the fourth time since February that I'm seeing David Cook. Twice that I'm seeing GRO and the first time seeing The Script. Which I am excited about!

I just keep having stupid dreams that I end up getting at the theater late and I miss some of the concert.....hopefully that won't happen!

But I really am so excited. I hope they play some songs that I haven't heard live before. Breathe Tonight is on the top of my wish list. Along with hearing their cover of Man In The Box. I also hope they play My Last Request even though I have heard that song live, but it's gorgeous and I wanna hear it again. 'Til I'm Blue and Avalanche would be amazing too, but oh well. Even if I don't get to hear any of those, it will still be an amazing and fun time.

The Script should be good. Considering I've been listening to them since last November, and never thought I would actually see them live. Who would have thought a whole year later I would be seeing them?

And the best part.....I will be in the 5th row!!! I've never been that close at a David Cook concert before, and it is going to be so amazing. Skib side =D

Oh, and I might tweet from the concert. I have the texting option enabled on my twitter now so I might send something here and there.

Alright, alright. So, as I mentioned before, David Cook and The Anthemic are coming to Milwaukee next month and I said before that I probably couldn't go. Well, my chance of going is slim BUT I bought tickets today anyways aaaaand I got 5TH FUCKING ROW. Skib side <3

OK, apparently Dublin and my niece have the same birthday. Just 2 years apart. How cute is that? :]

I'm going to Texas for a month. Or just a few weeks. Actually I have no idea how long I'll be away for, but it'll for sure be a few weeks and probably a month tops.
I'm excited because I'll get to spend much needed time with my brother and my nephew who I hardly know, but I'll also have to spend time with my sister in-law and....well, she's not my favorite person in the world. She's spoiled and she doesn't treat my brother right, and we have hard feelings toward each other, (or I just have them towards her) but oh well.
I get to spend time with my brother who I miss so much, and we're going to a Hanson concert together and I really don't care about what my sister in-law thinks of me or whatever.

Plus, it's been snowing here on and off since Monday, and it's cold here so I could really use some warm weather again before I have to suffer through feet of snow and sub zero temperatures.

But I am going to miss Halloween and fall time. My sister in-law is the religious type that thinks Halloween is wrong, so there will be no celebrating that down there. Plus they don't have the pretty fall colors and....oh god I am going to miss that part. :[
Fall is my favorite season and I loooove Halloween. It sucks that I'm giving that up.

So, I leave with my brother on Sunday. Driving down there. It's about 1,200 miles. It's gonna be a long drive, but I'm kind of excited about it.

My goal while I'm there is to have my brother get into Harry Potter again. He's only ever seen the first 2 movies, and that is just not acceptable. :]

Um, guys.
I just caught up on Supernatural because I've hardly been home and...
oh shit!

I am genuinely scared for tomorrow's episode.
Just....Dean! How could you say that. And Sam....and Lucifer just...oh my god.

From now on, I shall be watching the episodes while hugging my pillow.

In happier and unrelated news, Paramore's new album is absolutely amazing so you should go buy it if you haven't already.
You won't regret it. :]

I am back from Michigan.
It was an amazing time.
I'm exhausted.

David Cook & The Anthemic fucking rocked as always.
I got to hear Souvenir (again!!!)
I got to hear Make Me (omfg)
Aaaaand they also played Straight Ahead (holy shit....<3)

Sigh. They played like 15 or 16 songs and it was just....amazing. No opener. Which means more David Cook time! =D

OH! And at the end...I got David's guitar pic!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously...I never thought I'd get one but I did!!!! =D I got really lucky.

I always hated I Did It For You for some reason, but after hearing it live <3__<3 it is an amazing song. And they make it like 5 minutes long and Neal just completely kills it. Really hope you all get a chance to see it live. It's awesome and I love that song now.

So I get home and I find out that 30 second clips of some unreleased songs that never made it on the album were actually released.
There are a few that I really don't like and that don't sound like him, but there are a few that I am just dying to hear in full.

My favorite is probably "That's What I Get". It is Kiss On The Neck's sister or something, I know. But it is awesome and I love the melody and the vocals.
"Strange And Beautiful" is also <3__<3 I need to hear this one in full right now!

Then of course there's Souvenir <3 and We're Only Honest When We're Sleeping
I need to listen to those tracks again.

But yeah, wish at least 4 or 5 of them could be released.

Sigh.
I'll give a better recap of the Michigan concert later. My brother who I haven't seen in 13 months is coming up today for a week so I'll be absent for a little while.

I won't be home until Thursday.
It has been almost six months since I bought tickets for this show.

Really? March is when I bought them and I was like "omg it's so far away!" and now the concert is tomorrow???
Time is weird.

Anywho, I'm super excited! I saw them in July so just a few months ago and after this concert I've no idea when I'll see them next but I'm just gonna rock out and enjoy it!!!

So, no updates or tweets from me until I get back Thursday!

OK. Here is my recap from my second David Cook show from July 23rd in West Bend.

A couple months ago tickets for this went for sale over the phone. I tried calling for 3 straight hours and didn't get through fast enough to get orange tickets (1st section) and ended up with purple (2nd section). I was so mad about that, and got stressed out about not going to be close enough etc...etc..

WELL.
I live about an hour from the West Bend area. I had planned on leaving at 3:00 and getting there at 4:00, two hours before the gate to the VIP area opened. Didn't happen. Ended up getting there at 5, and by the time we got a parking spot, paid to get into the fair and walked to where the stage was, it was 5:30. I'm thinking "shit! we're going to end up in the very back row"
6:00 and they started getting people inside. A few minutes later it was our turn. Now obviously we had to be in the purple section, and the first row was full. But second row was pretty empty so we got seats almost toward the center but more on Andy's side. Perfect! It didn't matter that we got there an hour later, we couldn't have gotten much better seats at all considered what we were working with.

So, it ended up being that we were ten rows back from the stage. I really couldn't be happier! I did not expect to get as close as we were, and it was a great spot.

So, an hour and a half to wait before Green River Ordinance got on stage. At around 7:00 me and my sister decided to walk around a little bit and use the restroom before the concert started. Maybe 15 minutes later we got back and saw that David & band were doing a meet&greet out by a tent behind the stage area for certain people that apparently won some tickets to the M&G, and from where we were sitting we had a perfect view of the whole thing. We walked up closer in the VIP area and took a few pictures of the guys.

By that time security was telling everyone that they needed to get back to their seats, so we did. A few minutes later it was time for Green River Ordinance!! They were fantastic. They are amazing performers and have some really good music. After the first song they got everyone standing on their feet. We continued standing through their whole set after that.
About 3 songs in I saw David walk up to the stage and go into the sound booth. He stayed through the whole set, looking out into the audience and enjoying the music, and even dancing along at times haha. My main attention was on GRO, but once and a while I would glance over and would always see David having fun (while drinking a beer, it appeared). Even Andy was up there (believe I saw Joey and possibly Kyle at one point), and Andy had a video camera and was recording stuff for a few minutes.

Anywho, I had bought GRO's album "Out Of My Hands" on iTunes on Monday to get myself familiar with their music. The two songs that I had fell in love with "Goodbye L.A." and "Endlessly" they ended up playing and I was so happy to hear it live!
They have so much energy. "Endlessly" was gorgeous live, and they had tried to get everyone singing "Goodbye L.A." which was fun.

After they were done they said they would be out by the merchandise tent, and while we walked over there and ended up being just a few feet from the main singer and one of the guitarists, we didn't get to meet them =( Line was too big in front of us and we didn't want to wait too long so that we could get back to our seats.
But as I said earlier, they are gorgeous guys up close and they do have a really great sound and voice. I would certainly recommend them (and their album!)

Alright, so we get back to our seats and wait for David and band.

I'm not exactly sure what time it was (possibly 8:40) and David & band took the stage! Wow. My second time seeing them but....damn! This feeling would never get old.
They opened up with "Kiss On The Neck" (the same as the Green Bay show!) and the energy was amazing! That really got the show going and everyone was so into it. Got quite the extended moan, the whisper....they had us clapping along during the song. It was just amazing.

Second song was "Mr. Sensitive" ....I absolutely love that song and the way he sings it live.
3rd was "Heroes" and that was amazing.
4th song was "We're Only Honest When We're Sleeping". I've got to hear that song twice already and love it!

The banter was hilarious. Especially before "Lie". I can't remember it exactly right now so I don't want to butcher it, but i'm sure you can find a video of it on YouTube. He said "I'm pretty sure that was the worst segway into a song I've ever done!" haha
The song "Lie" itself?...........there are no words.
See, when I saw this song live in Green Bay, everyone had their cell phone out and the lights were turned off and it was really pretty with the way the song went in the beginning. I've always preferred the live version of this song to the CD version (love the more toned-down beginning)....but THIS?!
Holy crap. I have no words! The beginning....and he sang it partially in A cappella and ohmygod I cried so much! That was the most gorgeous thing I have ever, ever heard! I just stood there watching in awe at what I was hearing.

Alright, so what better song to get the energy back up and make the tears stop than....BAR-BA-SOL?!?!
David said he "wants to see some dancing and some shaking" so that's exactly what we did. I believe it was before this song that he was saying "i love Wisconsin because the summers are perfect for the girls to wear shirts that makes the guys go "woo!" but yet leave a lot to the imagination" then some girl must've gave him a scandalized look because he called her out and said "this girl over here is looking at me like ' what!?!! guys don't really talk like that, do they? ' yeah we do!" haha he was talking in his 'gay-voice' too which I am overly amused at.
Ohh man...bar-ba-sol....that song is just pure sex. He had us count along with him at the beginning too.
No guitar-sex though, which makes me sad. But David did come to our side for the guitar solo so that was a plus!

7th song was "Hot For Teacher". I had already gotten this at Green Bay but wasn't complaining! Especially when David put water in his mouth and spit it out.....yeah that was hot! haha
The whole performance is sexy. And it was hilarious because twice during the song he's like "I wanna see just how loud you guys can get! Not yet, not yet don't scream yet. I'm gonna put my hand up *puts hand up* and when my hand drops I want you guys to scream as loud as you can, alright?! So, watch the hand...watch the hand...." *hand drops* *loud screaming* *continues the song*
Then a little bit later towards the end he just puts his hand up and wiggles his fingers (it was really funny) then drops his hand again and everyone screams.
I believe it was during this song with Neal's guitar solo that David was throwing guitar pics at him haha (either this song or Declaration)

OK, now everyone who has been reading my journal this past week knows just how badly I wanted to hear "Souvenir" live, right?
Well, uh....I GOT TO HEAR IT LIVE!!!!!!!!
So gorgeous! More gorgeous live than I imagined. My sister who had never heard the song before absolutely loved it.

Next was Declaration. One of my favorite songs. We jumped up and down a lot.

Before I knew it, David was saying his thank-yous and that "we're going to leave you with our current single" D: it felt like they just got on stage!!!!
it was funny though because he was saying how you can buy it on iTunes for .99 then "no, the price it went up now to $1.39 now for the economy. It's to pay for gass for Apple!"
Got to hear "Come Back To Me" for the first time. Beautiful song, everyone was singing along and it was great.
David left the stage before the song was over though so we didn't get to hear the "come back to meeeeeeeeee" at the end =(

So, encore timeee!!!! Everyone is chanting and I actually stood up on my chair and clapped for them to come back. I saw David get back on stage with Kyle on his back!!!!! hahaha it was so funny. David giving Kyle a piggy back ride?!?! i really just want to know why xD

"Light On" was great.

"A Daily Anthem".....oh my god. Tears again. David says thank-you once more. Everyone is swaying along, singing along, David getting emotional......<3 best. thing .ever

Then, it was over =(

Some people were waiting over by the side of the stage for the guys to come out. I was in front so if he would have come out he would have gotten to me, but I really didn't expect them to come out. Saw Kyle walking out though and he waved to us all.
30 minutes later a domino's pizza delivery car pulled up for the guys xD so I knew then that they wouldn't come out. 10 minutes after that security announced they wouldn't come out because they have a schedule and need to leave in a few minutes but we were free to stay and watch them get on the bus lol.
We left though. We didn't need to see them get on the bus...that seemed sort of creepy IMO.

A certain person really needs to get a grip on reality, though. I've never seen her before and no idea who she is, but while we were all waiting out there to see if they were coming out she kept screaming "DAVID! COME SIGN SOME STUFF!"
she said that about 100 times and how she "DAVID COME SIGN SOME STUFF I WENT OVER THE SPEED LIMIT TODAY TO GET HERE YOU CAN AT LEAST COME HERE AND SIGN SOME STUFF!"

I wanted to yell at her to shut the fuck up, that he doesn't owe her shit and that she saw the show and that's all she was suppose to get. I didn't though, which I regret. He probably didn't come out because she was out there lol.

ANYWAY. sorry if this recap is shit and boring....I've never written a recap for a concert before and have the tendency to ramble and tell stuff that no one cares about so I'm sorry =P
I did take crappy pictures which I will be posting within the next day or two.

My next concert is September 15th....feels like an eternity!!! but wow. last night was AMAZING and worth everything. i still can't get over it!

TONIGHT WAS FUCKING AMAZING!

remember how i was so stressed out and a bit depressed how I was gonna be so far back for this show?
NO. I WAS 2ND ROW IN PURPLE WHICH WAS ABOUT 10 ROWS BACK. ANDY'S SIDE. AMAZING SPOT AND VIEW.

A DAILY ANTHEM IS STILL THE BEST THING EVER AND THE BEST WAY TO CLOSE A SHOW IN CONCERT HISTORY.

holy shiiiit! It's been far too long since I last saw them all the way back in February. 5 months, 3 days.

I have an amazing outfit that I'm gonna wear. Very rocker-ish outfit that I love.

But oh my god, you guys! Seriously.....I get to see sex on stage tomorrow that is "Bar-ba-sol", hear the sexy growl of "Kiss On the Neck" and just .....aksngjgnwkjhbwkj!!!!!
Plus, he's been closing with "A Daily AntheM" for every concert recently so I get to witness that amazingness once again!
I really hope he plays "Souvenir" as well! I've been dying to hear it live.
But no matter what he plays or doesn't play, I'll love it. I will not go home dissapointed at all. Just like last time.

Sigh.
Some people...I just don't get in this fucked up world.
I mean...really?

What am I on about? Last night at the concert in Oklahoma City, David Cook didn't come out to greet his fans after the show.
Not big deal. There are plenty of times when he hasn't come outside.
But the reason for not coming outside last night?

Oh, just something called a motherfucking psycho bitch got on the bus. Apparently there was no security at the time and she just walked right on.
Now, I've heard different things. I've heard that David was on the bus at the time, but I've also heard that the psycho bitch got on during the concert when he wasn't on it.

I would just really like to know where the fuck security was in all of this. David needs to get better security. There have been too many things happen where those fucking bitches have cornered him and pushed him up against the bus

Also, can security please get rid of the pathetic bitches that are in the front row every.fucking.night?
I am so scared to see what they're going to do with their lives after tour is over. Probably camp out at his house to get a look at him in his car every day.

I am just really sick of these so-called "fans" in this fandom. They're ruining it for everybody else, but they don't give a fuck. It's all just me, me, me with their stupid signs and their pushing and shoving.

And now with that motherfucker that got on the bus, what do you think that's going to do? It's going to make David less accessible to his fans. I would rather him be safer and less accessible, yes. But, really? THINK before you do this stuff. Don't ruin it for everybody else. You're only ruining it for yourself too.

Hundreds of fans have never met, and probably never will, meet David because of people like that.
And if you're really that desperate to meet the guy, do you really want to be remembered by him for shoving him against the bus? Or for being the psycho that got on the bus without permission?

I can't believe it's already a whole month tonight since Adam Cook passed away. </3
And a whole month tomorrow since David ran the Race for Hope. <3
May 3rd, 2009 will be a day I'll remember for the rest of my life. And I can't believe it's a whole month ago.
Still not any easier.

Donations are still pouring in to Race for Hope. Right now there is a grand total of $1,962,975.84 raised, with David Cook's Team still in the lead with an astounding $127,400.00

I'm so fucking proud of David Cook for continuing to raise awareness for this awful disease. Whether it's performing Permanent on American Idol, or continuing to talk about it in interviews.

FUCK. I hate how everyone is saying that Kris Allen didn't deserve to win. I'm sick of all these fucking Adam Lambert fans saying that American Idol is fake just because their precious God Adam Lambert didn't win.

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. This years' Lambert fans are last years' 12 year-old Archie fangirls. Remember when they were saying "OMG ARCHIE DIDN'T WIN!!!!! AMERICAN IDOL MUST BE FAKE!!!"

Yeah. Whatever fuckers. Lambert didn't win. Allen did. GET OVER IT. Stop saying that Kris Allen didn't deserve to win, or that the votes were rigged. How the fuck do you think that makes Kris Allen feel?!

I don't really care about who won. I am glad that Lambert didn't win, but I'm not buying either Allen or Lambert's albums when they come out. It just upsets me when I read about what people say about Kris Allen and how Adam Lambert should have won.

Kris Allen deserved it. He won. GET THE FUCK OVER IT.

I am so, so, so sick of cleaning/packing. Seriously. Moving is one of the worst things ever. Especially when it's a sudden decision.
Really, I have no idea what to do. My closet is so full of shit from the past six years....I don't even want to tackle that.
But hey! It's a good time to get rid of stuff and start new, right?
Just wish it wasn't such a hard process....

I really need to stop makings updates at 2 AM. Hardly anyone is up at this hour.

I'm getting frustrated at the lack of info about tickets for Blink-182
Today Mark Hoppus posted details about the dates and openers (I'm stuck with Fall Out Boy (Good) Panic at the Disco (ok) Chester French (who?) )

Just not as excited about this as I was. I wanted Weezer!! Fuck.

Speaking of concerts, remember those second row tickets for David Cook at the Great Jones County Fair I flailed about over a month ago?
Gonna have to sell those tickets. Yeah....pissed about that. I've never had second row at a David Cook concert before, and now I can't even use them.
Why? Because he's coming to West Bend, WI (fuck yes!!!) and I'm going to that one instead.
Do I want to go to only one? Fuck no. But because of current situations it would just be better to go to this concert that is only an hour away instead of a concert that is four hours away; eight round trip.
Plus, this really isn't up to me. I have to depend on a few other people, and it's their choice to not go to Iowa. If it was completely up to me, of course I would go to both! Eight hours is nothing for David Cook

So I'm very sad that I won't be going to Iowa as well :'( And I'm upset that the West Bend concert is a first-come first-served policy with no reserved seating. I'll have VIP tickets, but I don't have an assigned seat which SUCKS! I don't want to get there hours ahead of time and have to fight people so I get a decent spot.
Fuck. at least with Iowa I had a guaranteed second row seat. Fuck!

Oh well....maybe I'll get lucky?
Either way, I can't fucking wait.
